Federal judge blocks Trump’s second attempt at imposing $100,000 fee for H1-B visas

Judge Haywood Gilliam, of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, blocked the Trump administration’s second attempt to require a $100,000 fee for H1-B visas, which allows foreign nationals in “specialty occupations” to live and work in the U.S. The fee was previously $5,000 to $10,000.
