The White House Office of Management and Budget has published a “Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance,” a proposed rule that seeks to fundamentally redraw the ground rules for all federally funded research. NIH has published a request for information on its proposed policy that would cap the number of research project grants, or RPGs, for which an individual can simultaneously serve as principal investigator or multi-principal investigator.
