Mays Cancer Center receives grants, continued support from ACS

The American Cancer Society awarded the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, has received two check donations in the amounts of $480,000, for an institutional research grant, and $65,000, for cancer support grants, from the American Cancer Society.

The American Cancer Society’s recent report on the increasing incidence rates of colorectal cancer in young adults once again rang an alarm bell for adults over 45 to get checked, especially if they are having symptoms.
