A multicenter research team led by Johns Hopkins Medicine have identified a protein called claudin-4 that binds to the B. fragilis toxin receptor, a toxin which is known to drive colon tumor formation.

The long-awaited results from the RASolute 302 trial—a phase III clinical trial evaluating daraxonrasib, a RAS inhibitor, for the treatment of patients with previously treated, metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma—have been read out.
