Current age-based genetic testing may miss majority of inherited gene variants, MSK-led study finds

Doctors may have missed 72% of all patients with pathogenic variants if they had adhered to the standard age for germline screening of 50 years old, according to a study led by researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
