Harmon Eyre, former ACS chief medical and scientific officer, dies at 84

Harmon Eyre, MD, died on May 31 in Salt Lake City. He was 84 years old. From 1993 to 2008, he served as the chief medical and scientific officer (CMSO) of the American Cancer Society.

But as an oncologist with more than 40 years of experience, I also believe that this should be a clarion call to scientists and researchers, and for regulators at the FDA.
