Yoon was named director of the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center Biorepository and Tissue Analysis Shared Resource, effective Dec. 1; she will oversee a growing collection of cancer-associated biospecimens that allow researchers to translate Biological discoveries into prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
A multidisciplinary team at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, led by Evan Graboyes, was awarded a $3.5 million grant to test an approach for reducing delays in care for head and neck cancer patients.
