Senate Democrats warn that House spending bill will call for “brutal” cuts

The spending  bills now being put together by Republican-led House will include “brutal budget cuts” that would  harm social programs as well as research, Senate Democrats said in a recently released list of programs likely to be cut in the House appropriations bills.
