Yale honors scientists, clinicians with 2023 Conclave Awards

Yale Cancer Center’s Annual Conclave, held on Jan. 5, recognized the scientific and clinical accomplishments of Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center over the past year. Some of this year’s awardees included:

Daniel C. DiMaio received the Yale Cancer Center Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented by Eric Winer. DiMaio, the Waldemar Von Zedtwitz Professor of Genetics and Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry and of Therapeutic Radiology, was recruited to Yale in 1983 by Sherman Weissman and Leon Rosenberg.
