A report by the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network shows that people who enroll in short-term, limited duration insurance plans are likely to face serious financial strain should they be diagnosed with cancer.
“We’ve always argued that money comes and goes, but if you lose a generation of scientists—you can’t buy them back,” said Kelvin Lee, director of the Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center.
