The Lung Nodule Program, launched this year as a collaboration of the OSUCCC–James and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, was established to create a system for capturing incidental chest CT lung nodule findings—with the aid of machine learning tools—to determine which patients need additional evaluation.
Researchers at NYU Dentistry’s Pain Research Center have been awarded a five-year, $8 million NIH grant to study signaling mechanisms that generate oral cancer pain. The funding is part of the NIH’s Helping to End Addiction Long-term Initiative, which supports the development of safe and effective therapeutics to treat pain in an effort to end the opioid crisis.
