HIF-2α inhibitor casdatifan yields 35% response rate in kidney cancer, phase I study finds

Casdatifan, an oral investigational therapy designed to inhibit hypoxia-inducible factor-2 alpha, produced durable tumor responses with a manageable safety profile in patients with heavily pretreated clear cell renal cell carcinoma, according to the ARC-20 phase 1 clinical trial.
