Agendia Inc. announced it will be presenting new data from the Real-World Data Registry, FLEX, demonstrating MammaPrint’s ability to predict chemotherapy benefit in patients with HR+HER2- early-stage breast cancer. The findings will be presented at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2024. The MammaPrint test analyzes the 70 most important genes associated with breast cancer recurrence.

Fatty acids promote immune suppression and therapy resistance in triple negative breast cancer, Baylor Medicine study finds

A study published in the journal Immunity reveals a mechanism that allows triple negative breast cancer to develop resistance to therapy. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine showed that lipid accumulation in tumor cells and nearby immune cells promotes immune suppression, but disrupting lipid formulation reverses treatment resistance and the immunosuppressive microenvironment.
