Today, our world is small. It feels smaller all the time. In a few hours we can get to any point on the globe. 

We routinely attend meetings where one or more people are in Europe, the Middle East, or Africa, joining remotely. In the cancer community, it is rare not to have friends and collaborators who are all over the world, and that is one of the truly special parts of this career.
