Jonathan Laryea, chief of the Division of Colorectal Surgery in the Department of Surgery and medical director of cancer services at UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute was named the Nolie and Norma Mumey Endowed Chair in Surgery in a Sept. 7 ceremony.
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute has been designated as a Center of Excellence by the MDS Foundation, making it the only center in Arkansas to become part of the foundation’s referral network of the top bone marrow disorder treatment centers in the world.
