Abhisek Swaika named medical director of Northwell at Rego Park, chief of hem/onc at Jewish Forest Hills Hospital

The Northwell Health Cancer Institute and its Center for Genomic Medicine opened Long Island’s first clinical Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, a $3.2 million 2,800 square foot state-of-the-art facility with technology of next-generation sequencing that provides point-of-care tumor and patient genomic profiling to inform precision cancer therapy.
