IU’s Harikrishna Nakshatri receives $1.3 million to improve breast cancer treatment for Black women

Harikrishna Nakshatri, a researcher at Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, received a $1.3 million grant from the Department of Defense to characterize unique biomarkers within the normal breasts of Black women and how that impacts health disparities in breast cancer.
