Friends publishes evaluation of RWE in NSCLC

Findings by Friends of Cancer Research were published recently in JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics in a paper titled “Evaluation of real-world tumor response derived from electronic health record data sources: A feasibility analysis in mNSCLC patients treated with chemotherapy.”

New research led by Friends of Cancer Research demonstrates that decreases in circulating tumor DNA after initiation of treatment are associated with improved overall survival in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer treated with immunotherapy or chemotherapy.
Rybrevant (amivantamab-vmjw) + Lazcluze (lazertinib) demonstrated a statistically significant and clinically meaningful overall survival improvement for patients with previously untreated locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer with epidermal growth factor receptor exon 19 deletions or L858R substitution mutations, according to data from the phase III Mariposa study.
