Matthew Ringel, Electra Paskett, and Zihai Li were named deputy directors at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. They will report to OSUCCC Director Raphael Pollock.

Researchers at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute said results of a phase II, multi-center clinical trial revealed that a new type of cell therapy is a promising potential treatment option for patients with stage 4 lung cancer who were previously treated but later developed resistance to other therapies.

Solove Research Institute opened a $100 million, 55,000 square foot proton therapy center. It is the first treatment facility in central Ohio offering this highly targeted form of radiation therapy for treatment of complex tumors that cannot be removed through surgery.
