A team of researchers at Fox Chase Cancer Center was awarded a Department of Defense Prostate Cancer Health Disparity Research Award for New Investigators.
NCI and Cancer Research UK have awarded $100 million in total funding through the Cancer Grand Challenges program, supporting research into solid tumors in children, cachexia, extrachromosomal DNA, and tumor development.

Ryan Schoenfeld was named chief executive officer of The Mark Foundation for Cancer Research.
