Joann Sweasy named director of University of Nebraska cancer center

Joann B. Sweasy, an expert in the genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry of DNA repair, has been named the next director of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and the Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer and Allied Diseases at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
