Faith E. Davies was named the inaugural director of the Center for Blood Cancers at NYU Langone Health’s Perlmutter Cancer Center.
The University of Colorado Cancer Center has announced several leadership changes:
Amy Jo Jenkins was named associate director of administration for the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Succeeding Jenkins, Matthew Kovak was promoted to executive director of the clinical trials office.
Wendy Stock and Geoffrey Uy were named co-chairs of the Leukemia Committee of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology.
Anat Kendal was named Chief Financial Officer of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Kendal, whose appointment is effective immediately, reports to Julie Fleshman, president and CEO of PanCAN.
M. Eileen Dolan was named deputy director of the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The Tarrant County Commissioners Court in Texas Jan. 18 voted to award a $9 million grant to Moncrief Cancer Institute to develop a comprehensive cancer screening program for underserved residents throughout the county served by all members of the Commissioners Court.
David C. Smith was named chief medical officer and associate director for cancer clinical services and Shruti Jolly was named associate director for the Michigan Medicine statewide cancer network by the University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center.
Shusen Liu was named chief medical officer of GenomiCare Biotechnology. Liu will be responsible for leading the growth of GenomiCare’s partnership, in China and globally, with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center has created the Fiona and Stanley Druckenmiller Presidential Innovation Fund, which will seed projects in translational cancer medicine.
