Northwell opens molecular diagnostics laboratory to identify targeted cancer therapies

The Northwell Health Cancer Institute and its Center for Genomic Medicine opened Long Island’s first clinical Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, a $3.2 million 2,800 square foot state-of-the-art facility with technology of next-generation sequencing that provides point-of-care tumor and patient genomic profiling to inform precision cancer therapy.
