The Northwell Health Cancer Institute and its Center for Genomic Medicine opened Long Island’s first clinical Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory, a $3.2 million 2,800 square foot state-of-the-art facility with technology of next-generation sequencing that provides point-of-care tumor and patient genomic profiling to inform precision cancer therapy.
Lei Zheng was named executive director of the Mays Cancer Center, home to UT Health San Antonio MD Anderson Cancer Center, and vice president for oncology for the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
