Jerry D. Boyd and Julie Boyd
The Cancer Letter Inc. was founded by journalist Jerry D. Boyd in 1973. Boyd wrote and edited the newsletters while his wife Julie handled the subscription management and typesetting. They retired in 1990 after selling the business to their daughter Kirsten Boyd Goldberg.
